Lead Product Designer

Electronic Arts is seeking a Lead Product Designer to act as a foundational member of the design team. In this role, you will own outcomes, design practices, and quality standards across several vertical and horizontal teams. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, guiding problem exploration, achieving cross-organizational alignment, and shaping a culture of empowerment and design excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Own Quality & Delivery: Own design outcomes and practices for several teams, leading solution discovery and delivery that contributes to strategic targets.
• Problem Solving & Navigation: Apply problem-solving frameworks and people-centered principles to guide the team in exploring complex problem spaces.
• Data-Driven Experimentation: Design experiments to test hypotheses and validate assumptions, collaborating with cross-functional partners to make data-driven decisions.
• Effective Communication: Create compelling visual and written documentation, explaining insights, processes, and standards to stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Alignment & Autonomy: Give clear direction across teams and self-direct on initiatives, proactively addressing blockers.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of professional experience in product design, UX/UI, or related fields.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings and persuade stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of human-centered design principles, with experience designing experiments and driving data-informed decisions.
• Experience navigating ambiguity and tactical trade-offs in a fast-paced environment, ideally within UGC platforms, creator tools, or AI-driven consumer products.
• Proven experience independently owning design outcomes and practices for a dedicated vertical team or complex platform features.
