Description
Dovetail is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their team in Sydney. As a Senior Product Designer at Dovetail, you will be responsible for crafting experiences, interactions, and solutions that improve the product for customers and drive user adoption.
The role places a stronger emphasis on visual design, prototyping, usability testing, and evolving the design system. You will work closely with product, engineering, GTM, leadership, and other designers to shape and ship thoughtful, high-impact features.
Responsibilities:
- Champion customer feedback in every decision by building a deep understanding of customer needs, perspectives, and goals.
- Design simple, intuitive, and delightful product experiences that balance customer needs with business goals and technical constraints.
- Drive design through collaboration with product, engineering, GTM, leadership, and other designers.
- Prototype and pair closely with engineers to ensure high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to the design system by creating and evolving patterns and components.
- Help shape the design team culture and scale design rituals and design systems.
Requirements:
- Strong product design experience, preferably in B2B cloud software or startups.
- Breadth across the design process, from product discovery to detailed design.
- Experience with AI tools and fast prototyping approaches.
- Attention to detail and a high-quality bar.
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly collaborative working style.
- Pragmatic mindset with comfort in ambiguity and changing priorities.
