Join Keywords Studios Ottawa as a Video Game Proofreader in a multicultural environment. As a proofreader, you will utilise your linguistic skills to review video game content.
Main Tasks:
- Proofread texts and video game content for spelling, syntax, and typography errors.
- Check texts for consistency and recommend changes where necessary.
- Write error reports.
- Perform minor, simple translations.
- Ensure subtitles match the audio tracks.
Requirements:
- Native-level speaker of one of the following languages: Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, European Spanish, European French, Finnish, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin American Spanish, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Swedish, Thai, Vietnamese.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Reside in the Ottawa area.
- Availability to work from home and in-office according to project demands.
- Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, open work permit, Working Holiday Visa, or in the process of requesting a work permit.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and time efficiently.
- Comfortable with digital technologies.
- Interest in the video game industry.
- Experience in a similar position or related field is an asset.
