Description
Boeing Ukraine LLC is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to join their team in Kyiv, Ukraine.
The Structural Analyst will perform comprehensive structural analyses and engineering evaluations supporting fuselage structures, including stress, damage tolerance, and fatigue assessments across diverse areas of primary and secondary structures.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze structural issues related to airframe components
- Perform detailed stress and damage tolerance analysis to evaluate structural integrity
- Investigate and provide engineering solutions for material non-conformance and repair assessments
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and design teams to ensure compliance with design and safety standards
- Document analysis results and technical justifications, and coordinate with relevant authorities as needed
- Provide timely and accurate structural evaluations to support engineering decision-making
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to structural integrity and manufacturing processes
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
- Experience with MSC Patran and Nastran
- Knowledge of durability analysis, damage tolerance, finite element analysis, and fatigue analysis
- Experience preparing and reviewing structural analysis reports and supporting documentation
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical requirements, and engineering documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical findings
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in Ukrainian and English
- Existing authorization to work in Ukraine
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles and processes
- Familiarity with FAA and EASA requirements applicable to aircraft structures and structural substantiation
