Lead Sanitation

We are seeking a Lead Sanitation to join our team at our facility in Bergen op Zoom. As Lead Sanitation, you will play a crucial role in maintaining food safety and hygiene standards across our plant. You will coordinate and participate in cleaning and hygiene activities, lead a team of sanitation employees, and ensure that tasks are completed according to schedule, quality requirements, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily activities within the sanitation team
• Supervise and support sanitation employees and contractors
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, quality, and safety guidelines
• Maintain order and cleanliness throughout the factory and grounds
• Conduct visual inspections of cleaning activities and address any issues
• Support during emergencies and contribute to swift and safe resolution
• Register completed tasks, controls, and incidents accurately and thoroughly
• Suggest improvements in hygiene, safety, and daily work processes

Requirements:

• Experience in cleaning operations within the food industry is preferred
• Leadership or coaching experience is highly valued
• Proficiency in Dutch is required; English language skills are a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility for work quality
• Strong communication skills and ability to motivate colleagues
• Willingness to follow safety, quality, and environmental courses
