PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant - Acute Care

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at PT Solutions in Niceville, Florida, working alongside HCA Florida Twin Cities Hospital. As a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant in acute care, you will play a vital role in expanding access to transformative care and making a real difference in patients' lives.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
• Develop strong relationships with patients to help them exceed their functional goals
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, families, clinicians, and hospital team members
• Build and maintain relationships with hospital staff, including physicians, case management, and nurses

Requirements:

• Graduate of an ACOTE-approved occupational therapy assistant program
• Current or pending state licensure
• Basic Life Support certification

Schedule:

• 2 weekend day shifts per month
• 1 major holiday
• 1 minor holiday

Compensation:

• $35/hr weekdays
• $40/hr weekends
