Description
Join kW Mission Critical Engineering, part of WSP USA, as an Early Career Mechanical Engineer in Milwaukee, WI.
You will design building infrastructure, including power and cooling systems, for data centers that must remain operational 24/7.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting and analyzing data from physical work sites, surveys, and technical drawings for project development.
- Perform basic mechanical engineering work, including research and inspections of site conditions and equipment.
- Provide technical assistance on design requirements, load calculations, and operating strategies.
- Generate documentation and specifications using electronic systems and drawings.
- Comply with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 0-1 year of relevant post-education experience.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with design/build processes and mechanical system construction laws.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with technical writing, office automation, and design software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineer in Training Certification.
- Internship experience related to the degree of study.
- Participation in local professional practice organizations.
