Security Officer Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team on a fixed-term contract at The Sidings, Waterloo, London. As the public face of the Security Team, you will provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of security.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with visitors and tenants, delivering first-class customer service
• Conduct regular patrols of the shopping centre, being proactive and looking for opportunities to assist
• Safeguard the site, ensuring a safe and non-threatening environment for all visitors
• Manage incidents in accordance with site policies and procedures
• Liaise with the site control room and colleagues to respond to incidents
• Report any unsecure areas of the site to the Control Room and take action to resolve
• Record and log all non-conformances and emergencies
• Deal efficiently and effectively with emergencies, keeping the Centre team informed
• Monitor and surveil suspect individuals, logging and reporting incidents
• Maintain vigilance and manage unauthorised access by banned individuals
• Adhere to radio procedures and notebook policies
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required

Requirements:

• SIA Door Supervisors licence
• CCTV license
• First Aid Training
• Professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous, and helpful demeanor
• One team approach
• Ability to take ownership of situations and stay motivated
