Description
We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician - Electrical to join our team at the 3M Plant in Quapaw, OK. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment, physical structures, piping, and instrument and electrical systems to support production, with a focus on electrical troubleshooting and resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Leading maintenance activities to keep production equipment operating safely, reliably, and efficiently
- Implementing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, piping, instruments, electrical systems, PLC-controlled equipment, and VFD-driven systems
- Determining equipment condition and repair needs through inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair
- Supporting a safe, organized, and compliant work environment by following safety and environmental practices
- Responding to scheduled and emergency maintenance needs
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field (pipefitter, welder, electrician, instrument/electronics technician, HVAC-R, millwright)
- Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience with PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and control systems
