Strategic Legal Compliance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Legal Compliance Manager to lead our global compliance team and play a key role in developing and strengthening our global compliance governance framework and management system.

As a Strategic Legal Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining our global compliance governance framework, including policies, standards, and clear governance principles
• Establishing a uniform approach to regulatory intelligence and ensuring relevant regulatory developments are identified, assessed, and translated into practical compliance requirements, priorities, and controls
• Creating and maintaining our global compliance risk framework, risk taxonomy, and associated assessment methodology
• Developing and implementing global compliance management systems and ensuring regulatory requirements, risks, policies, controls, and reporting are integrated into a cohesive framework
• Designing and delivering meaningful compliance KPIs and reporting standards to provide transparency on compliance risks, performance, and maturity
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to embed compliance frameworks consistently
• Leading, developing, and empowering a team of compliance experts

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in compliance governance, compliance risk management, and compliance management systems in an international environment
• Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing teams in compliance, legal, risk, or governance
• In-depth understanding of global compliance frameworks, regulatory requirements, governance principles, and regulatory intelligence
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex regulatory requirements and compliance risks into practical and scalable guidelines, standards, and business requirements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
