Security Relief Officer

We are seeking a Security Relief Officer to join our team at ABM UK in Cannock.

As the public face of the Security Team, you will provide a professional and can-do attitude, ensuring exemplary standards of Security and Customer Service to clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with visitors and tenants, delivering first-class customer-focused service
• Conduct regular patrols of the shopping centre, being proactive and looking for opportunities to assist visitors
• Safeguard the site, ensuring a safe and non-threatening environment for all visitors and tenants
• Manage incidents in accordance with site policies and procedures
• Liaise with the site control room, reacting to incidents and supporting colleagues
• Report unsecure areas to the Control Room and take action to resolve
• Record and log non-conformances and emergencies with the control room operatives
• Deal efficiently and effectively with emergencies, keeping the Centre team informed
• Monitor and surveil suspect individuals, logging and reporting incidents in line with site/company policies
• Maintain vigilance and manage unauthorised access by banned individuals
• Adhere to radio procedures and notebook policies
• Undertake other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business

• SIA license essential
