Personal Injury Pre Suit Attorney

We're seeking a lawyer to serve as a Pre-Suit focused Attorney in our office in New Haven. As a Personal Injury Pre Suit Attorney, you will handle all pre-litigation work, guide clients through the case process, draft and file pre-litigation documents, oversee settlement negotiations, and manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval
• Guide clients through the case process
• Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents
• Complete TD approval for liability issues
• Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
• Manage the release approval process
• Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers
• Focus on Personal injury cases, primarily automotive
• Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team
• EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements

Requirements:

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• An active member in good standing with the CT State Bar Association
• 2+ years of premises or personal injury experience
• Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit cases
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
