Description
CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Demotte, IN. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within the store. You will be the first point of contact to assist patients and customers, ensuring an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient care
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices to manage and improve patient health
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
- Complete basic inventory activities, such as accurately putting away medication deliveries and completing cycle counts
- Support immunizations, including preparing and administering vaccines
- Educate patients about the importance of vaccines and refer them to the Pharmacist-on-duty for vaccination questions
Requirements:
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
- Must be at least 16 years of age (if no minimum age requirement is specified)
- High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program (if no minimum educational requirement is specified)
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs

Schedule:
- Part-time position with 29 anticipated weekly hours
- Flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Every third weekend required
