Description
We are seeking a Facility Attendant 1 to join our Supply Chain Facility team. As a Facility Attendant 1, you will perform a wide variety of minor maintenance tasks to ensure the general upkeep and maintenance of the Distribution Centre.
The starting hourly rate is $24.95 USD per hour, with potential additional compensation through shift differentials ranging from $2.00 to $3.50 per hour, based on eligibility. Your pay will be based on several factors, including labour markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

Responsibilities:
- Support Maintenance Technicians in performing mechanical preventative and corrective maintenance throughout the facility
- Act as a Qualified Electrical Assistant for electrical safety processes
- Assist in the installation and removal of equipment
- Evaluate and inspect the facility to determine upkeep or repair requirements
- Change PIT batteries and perform preventative and corrective maintenance
- Complete maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of Label Tec Printers
- Operate hand and power tools
- Construct or repair assets within the facility
- Complete plumbing tasks
- Perform tasks such as painting and drywall repairs
- Assist in preventive maintenance programs
- Remove trash and maintain building grounds
- Operate snow removal equipment
- Drive Target-owned vehicles
- Complete necessary paperwork and utilize handheld devices
- Follow safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Physical Demands:
- Lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 47 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally
- Move about within and around the site frequently
- Work in various temperature-controlled environments
- Access all areas of the Distribution Centre
- Have full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
Requirements:
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Effective communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to be certified to operate all power equipment
- Ability to use maintenance tools
- Ability to read and comprehend labels and instructions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
