RBT/ABA Support Assistant (Temp to Hire)

High Tech High seeks a RBT/ABA Support Assistant to assist students with diverse needs in accessing the general education curriculum.

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Support Assistant is responsible for ensuring that students with exceptionally diverse needs have access to our general education curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers by working with individual students on a one-to-one basis
• Implement behaviour intervention plans and crisis plans
• Collect behaviour data
• Assist with instruction and supervision of students with learning differences
• Establish rapport and meaningful relationships with referred students
• Perform clerical support duties

Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED
• Registered Behaviour Technician Certification or ABA Training equivalent
• One of the following: Associate's degree (or higher); or 48 or more eligible units of coursework at a recognised college or university; or met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate knowledge of reading, writing, and mathematics

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in a school/learning environment
• More than 6 months experience in implementing Applied Behaviour Analysis

Salary: USD 29.3-35.71 per hour.

This is an hourly position that can work variable hours up to 35 per week. This position does not initially qualify for benefits.
