LGV 2 Driver AM

As an LGV 2 Driver AM at Biffa, you will work as part of a single person crew, driving various LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins from trade waste customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Driving LGV vehicles
• Collecting and emptying bins
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Safely manoeuvring and operating a large rigid vehicle
• Providing good customer service

Requirements:

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures
