As a SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (PM) Functional Consultant, you will take end-to-end ownership of the SAP PM workstream, provide strategic guidance to clients, mentor consulting teams, and ensure high-quality delivery aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices.
This position combines hands-on functional expertise, client advisory responsibilities, making it ideal for an consultant ready to drive large-scale transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the SAP PM workstream on S/4HANA implementation, rollout, or conversion programs.
- Own solution design decisions for end-to-end plant maintenance and asset management processes.
- Ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of PM scope across project phases.
- Manage dependencies and risks across PM, EAM, and integrated SAP modules.
- Act as the primary SAP PM trusted advisor for client stakeholders.
- Lead executive-level discussions on maintenance strategy, asset reliability, and S/4HANA roadmap.
- Translate complex business challenges into scalable SAP S/4HANA PM solutions.
- Drive fit-to-standard and process harmonization discussions using SAP best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years of S4/HANA consulting experience with at least 2-3 full lifecycle implementation in SAP PM.
- Proven experience working in a client-facing role within a consulting environment.
- Deep expert-level knowledge of SAP PM in S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of:
+ Asset lifecycle management + Maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution + Regulatory and compliance maintenance
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA PM Fiori apps.
- Solid understanding of integration with modules such as MM, WH, QM, FI/CO, and EWM
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders at operational and managerial levels.
- SAP Certified in PM modules is an added bonus.
- Working knowledge of Agile project delivery frameworks.
- Experience in global delivery and working with offshore resources.
- Good communication with professional level English and proactive attitude.
