Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient Ortho/Neuro

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient orthopedic and neuro rehabilitation team at Atrium Health Huntersville.

As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate, plan, direct, and administer programs of Physical Therapy to restore function, prevent disability, and help patients enhance physical and functional abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized care plans
• Conduct Physical Therapy programs, including modalities, procedures, exercise programs, and patient education
• Establish functional goals with patients and provide evidence-based interventions
• Document patient evaluations, progress, and discharge notes
• Communicate with physicians, referral sources, and clinical staff
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and Rehab Tech/Aides as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• NC license for Physical Therapy
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Physical Demands:

• Hearing and vision adequate for communication and reading
• Intelligible speech and adequate language/cognitive skills
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, kneel, twist, bend, and lift patients/equipment up to 50 pounds
