Staff Systems Engineer, Oracle EBS, Accounting

Join Pinterest's IT Enterprise Systems team as a Staff Systems Engineer, Oracle EBS, Accounting, where you'll play a key role in evolving our Oracle EBS and Finance technology landscape.

What You'll Do:

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Oracle EBS Financials across accounting-centric processes.
• Lead solution design, configuration, support, and continuous improvement across accounting processes.
• Apply AI thoughtfully to improve systems analysis, documentation, and operational efficiency.
• Support end-to-end integrations between Oracle EBS and external enterprise applications.
• Work closely with Accounting stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Help define and execute the Oracle ERP roadmap in partnership with product owners, systems managers, and business leaders.
• Assess and enhance record-to-report and related finance processes.
• Ensure strong SDLC, change management, and SOX-compliant processes across the ERP ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Managed Service Partners and internal teams to promote operational excellence.
• Partner across Finance and IT to support broader ERP modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of progressive experience implementing, supporting, and enhancing Oracle EBS in large, complex enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in Oracle EBS Financials, including strong hands-on knowledge of GL, AP, CM, FA, SLA, and accounting control frameworks.
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials is a plus.
• Ability to use AI responsibly in enterprise environments.
• Strong functional understanding of end-to-end Finance processes, accounting operations, and ERP controls.
• Experience leading Oracle EBS configuration, enhancements, issue resolution, release coordination, and cross-functional systems initiatives.
• Solid understanding of Oracle EBS integrations, enterprise application architecture, and cloud integration frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SOX controls, audit readiness, compliance requirements, and change management practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Salary Range: $158,765-$326,870 USD per year
