Simulation Support Engineer II

AVL Mobility Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Simulation Support Engineer II to join the team. The successful candidate will assist existing customers with the operation and use of AST software, provide technical sales support, evaluate customer requirements, organize training courses, and maintain training materials.

Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support to customers using AST software
• Offer technical sales support, including model setup, execution, and analysis
• Evaluate customer requirements and estimate project scope
• Organize local and customer-site training courses
• Develop and update training materials and handouts
• Communicate customer feedback to relevant teams
• Manage and execute AST simulation customer programs
• Support business development through pre-sales activities and product demonstrations
• Proactively manage product evaluations, including training and follow-up
• Explore software functions and create user guides
• Work independently on common tasks and collaborate with senior support staff on complex tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in simulation, analysis, or math-based simulation tools
• Strong background in powertrain and vehicle component modeling and design optimization
• Positive, customer-focused attitude
• Understanding of vehicle systems, including advanced technologies
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
