Description
As Senior Technician, you'll support the Business Services team in Milton Keynes to deliver accurate technical and administrative services for a growing client base. You'll serve as a key contact for London-based teams, helping work progress smoothly and in accordance with company standards and client requirements.
You'll validate technical data, produce reports and reconciliations, maintain reliable records and support credit control. You'll also resolve escalated queries and help colleagues develop the technical knowledge needed to deliver a consistent, high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex technical administration, ensuring work is accurate, complete and delivered efficiently.
- Validate data submissions and transactions against company standards and client requirements.
- Prepare and review technical reports, statements, reconciliations and management information.
- Maintain accurate system records, manage credit control processes and resolve outstanding queries.
- Apply regulatory and internal requirements, acting as an escalation point for internal teams and clients.
- Train and mentor less experienced colleagues to build their technical capability.
Requirements
- Experience delivering technical administration or accounting work within insurance or financial services.
- Working knowledge of London Market processes and systems.
- Evidence of reviewing complex work for accuracy, compliance and timely completion.
- Ability to organise competing priorities, resolve technical queries and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, together with GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English at Grade C or above.
- A-levels at grades A–C or equivalent, and progress towards a relevant professional qualification.
