Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology.
You will be working on the Sentry Tower Software team, which develops robotic systems that provide force protection capabilities, monitoring the perimeter of secure areas, land or sea, for approaching people, vehicles, and vessels.
Your primary responsibility will be to own and grow the simulation and hardware test infrastructure for the Sentry Towers, making automated, whole-system testing the default for everything shipped.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and growing SITL environments, adding product variants and scenarios, and keeping simulated sensor and video pipelines faithful
- Building out functional coverage on the HITL bench across key behaviors
- Integrating CI end-to-end, including scheduling, dependency chaining, artifact capture, and result reporting
- Growing the test platform continuously as the product line evolves
- Making failures diagnosable without touching the rig
- Partnering with hardware and manufacturing engineers to stand up physical HITL benches
- Collaborating with firmware, platform, and business line teams to add tests against the framework
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on building test infrastructure, CI systems, or simulation for systems involving real hardware.
Required skills include proficiency in Python, working knowledge of Rust or C++, and experience with CI/CD engineering, Linux systems, and declarative configuration.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with robotics or vehicle simulation, familiarity with NVIDIA Jetson provisioning, and background in hardware test engineering.
