Lead HVAC Installer

Triangle Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking a skilled Lead HVAC Installer to take ownership of residential installations from start to finish, maintain high workmanship standards, and help develop less-experienced team members.

The successful candidate will have previous residential HVAC installation experience, strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, ductwork, airflow, and installation practices. The role involves leading residential HVAC installation and replacement projects, installing HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications, and directing and mentoring an apprentice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading residential HVAC installation and replacement projects from start to finish
• Installing HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, and company standards
• Designing, fabricating, modifying, and installing ductwork and duct fittings as required
• Verifying and loading the equipment, materials, and tools needed for each job
• Directing and mentoring an apprentice while supporting the development of their technical skills
• Performing equipment startups, system testing, airflow verification, and commissioning
• Identifying and communicating equipment, material, or job-scope concerns promptly
• Completing all required paperwork, job notes, equipment records, and documentation accurately
• Protecting customers' homes and maintaining clean, organized, and professional jobsites
• Explaining system operation and basic maintenance expectations to homeowners
• Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and inventory of the assigned company vehicle
• Working safely and efficiently while following company policies and procedures
