Description
The GTM AI Transformation team at Toast is hiring a GTM Engineer to build agents and automations that run inside Toast's sales motion. You will write production code in Python against Salesforce, Snowflake, and LLM APIs, extend the sales AI platform (Myko) with custom integrations, and turn call transcripts and deal data into actions that reach reps and managers without anyone asking for them.
Responsibilities:
- Build agentic workflows that automate high-volume sales work end-to-end, including follow-up drafting, deal stage updates, task creation, and Slack and CRM notifications.
- Develop integrations between prospecting agents and adjacent systems, such as quoting, pricing, and case creation.
- Create pipelines that pull conversation intelligence transcripts into Snowflake and the CRM, and services that produce next best actions, deal risk flags, and coaching recommendations.
- Implement production controls, including evals, observability, permissions, and sensitive-data handling.
- Work with a third-party signal layer that flows into account prioritization and win/loss data capture.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python and strong SQL.
- Experience with LLM-powered workflows or agents, built against an LLM API or agent framework.
- Hands-on Salesforce experience, including data model, Flow, APIs, and permissions.
- Comfort working directly in a data warehouse, such as Snowflake.
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, auth, and integration troubleshooting.
- Typically 4 to 6+ years of experience in GTM Engineering, Business Systems, or related fields.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with MCP, RAG, or eval frameworks.
- Salesforce Apex or Platform Developer certification.
- Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation tooling.
- Experience with conversation intelligence or sales engagement platform APIs.
- Enrichment and signal tooling experience.
- Reporting experience in Tableau, Looker, or Sigma.
The base salary range for this role is $120,000-$192,000 USD, depending on skills, experience, and geographic location.
