Description
As a Test Automation Intern at Lyft, you'll collaborate with industry-leading engineers to create cutting-edge test automation tools, enhancing user trust and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Own your project and check in with team members throughout the day
- Ensure code quality through progressive refactoring and testing (unit, integration, and load tests)
- Participate in code reviews to distribute knowledge and ensure code quality
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment
- Know that your work improves the quality of Lyft Urban Solutions riders
Experience:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science from a Canadian university, graduating between December 2027 and Summer 2028
- Available for the internship in Montreal during Summer 2027
- Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for community, sustainability, and/or transportation
- Passion for quality and testing
- Ability to thrive in a startup environment
- Contributions to open source projects
- Experience working with databases
- Experience solving real-time technology problems
- Experience with mobile development
- Experience with integration testing and test automation is a plus
- Experience with or a strong desire to learn and use cutting-edge AI tooling
