Description
Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Fullstack Engineer for its Application Core Services team. The successful candidate will have strong backend experience and enjoy making complex business systems reliable, understandable, and easier to operate.
The role involves leading complex technical work, contributing directly to implementation, and sharing ownership with other Staff and Senior engineers. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience designing, delivering, and operating production backend systems, with a strong focus on Go and TypeScript/React applications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, building, and operating backend services and APIs
- Improving the correctness and reliability of billing and usage workflows
- Identifying recurring manual tasks and replacing them with maintainable automation
- Maintaining and evolving the infrastructure supporting services
- Investigating production issues and planning service deployments
- Collaborating with product management, Support, and other teams
Requirements include:
- Substantial experience with production backend systems
- Strong experience with Go and TypeScript/React applications
- Experience with relational databases, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure
- Ability to investigate production problems and deliver projects end-to-end
- Experience working remotely and communicating clearly in writing and conversation
The compensation range for this role is $186,368 - $223,642 CAD.
