Description
We are seeking a Trading Assistant - Food to join our team at Asda. You will support the Trader in all areas, including sales tracking and analysis. The role involves maintaining accurate records, liaising with suppliers, and contributing to decisions on product ranges and promotions.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Trader with daily sales and profit reports
- Admin support and marketing
- Maintaining accurate records, including line listing, cost and retail changes
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure deadlines and tasks are met
- Inputting into decisions on ranges and promotions
- Resolving store and supplier queries
- Raising and reconciling internal and external invoices
- Assisting with competitor research
