Service attendants are hospitality-minded specialists that help improve quality of life for village residents living and working away from home. As a Service Attendant, you will:
- Clean and maintain accommodation rooms (aka “dongas”)
- Assist in the kitchen and dining room service areas, including food handling and preparation
- Clean mine site offices, crib rooms, and ablution blocks
- Provide customer service in the tavern or retail shop
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas and common areas
To work for Sodexo, you will need:
- To be currently residing in Karratha
- A National Police Check, dated within the last 6 months
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day or night
- Ability to endure remote environments in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to multi-task and assist across areas with a positive teamwork approach
- Understanding of safe work and safety protocols
- Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
- Reliable transport to and from site
