As a Field Sales Rep II Crop Protection, your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Achieving assigned targets with Bayer products in coordination with pod mates;
- Developing and implementing dealer business plans, managing forecasting, inventory management, and product line demand issues;
- Serving as a key business consultant to retailers and dealers, effectively selling the value of Bayer Crop Science products;
- Demonstrating proof of product performance against competitors;
- Collaborating with pod mates, Field Sales Representatives, Customer Business Advisors, and Bayer Agronomists to maximize services, information, and sales;
- Managing inventory concerns, gathering market and competitive information, and utilizing data to make key decisions;
- Following set strategies for achieving long and short business plans for key accounts and assigned areas;
- Effectively managing expenses, discretionary dollars, and program payments;
- Showing initiative in expanding selling skills and product/portfolio knowledge;
- Ensuring achievement of program execution and program fulfillment;
- Partnering with pod mates and managing relationships with top growers and retailers;
- Acting as a business expert for top growers and retailers;
- Mentoring FSR interns, trainees, or more junior FSRs;
- Managing area claims per Bayer Crop Science policy;
- Traveling approximately 60% primarily in the listed geography.

Preferred qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree;
- 3+ years of experience in sales, marketing, account management, or agriculture;
- Demonstrated product, portfolio, and agronomic knowledge.
In terms of compensation, you can expect a salary of approximately $72,000 - $108,000 per year, with additional compensation including a bonus or commission. Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, and more.
