Role purpose Support the end-to-end delivery of US HSBC North America Holdings (HNAH) and Group stress testing activities, including Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) and HSBC Global (Group) stress tests, within Treasury Finance.
Principal responsibilities
- Stress test execution, analysis and results production: Support delivery of CCAR and other US/Group stress tests in line with agreed timelines and governance. Execute and/or support model runs and results production for balance sheet and P&L components.
- Review & Challenge (R&C), documentation and controls: Conduct and document model- and management-level Review & Challenge (R&C).
- Process coordination, governance and workflow management: Support end-to-end coordination across stakeholders.
- Systems, data lineage and reporting support: Support BAU operation and continuous improvement for CCAR-related platforms and reporting processes.
- Exams, audits and issue remediation: Support preparation for and coordination of the annual Horizontal Capital Review exam.
- Group-led stress tests (as applicable): Support R&C and coordination of Group-led stress tests and related approvals/governance.
- Process Improvement: Implement new models, tools, processes or automated solutions to support any changes in requirements.
Decision making / authority
- Make day-to-day decisions within assigned workstreams, escalating issues, risks and timeline slippages promptly.

- Treasury Finance leadership (HNAH) and the Head of Stress Test Delivery
- Finance partners across product and business lines
- Risk (Stress Testing, Market/Credit risk partners), Model Risk Management
Role requirements
- Experience (essential): Demonstrable experience in an analytical role within a bank or large financial services firm.
- Experience (preferred): Experience working in CCAR, with knowledge and understanding of CCAR regulations and overall CCAR requirements and process.
- Skills / capabilities: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, strong written communication, advanced Excel skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or other quantitative discipline preferred).
