Product Designer, Growth

Discord is looking for a Product Designer to join the Growth team and help shape how people find, get set up, and stay connected on the platform.

The Growth team is responsible for how Discord shows up in the world, including discovery, onboarding, and staying connected. This role spans multiple areas, including notifications, off-platform presence, onboarding, and GSEO.

Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end initiatives across Growth, designing across all platforms (iOS, Android, Desktop, Web)
• Design with high craft and velocity, creating production-ready specs and high-fidelity prototypes
• Influence scope and strategy with PM, engineering lead, and cross-functional teammates
• Use data and research to inform decisions, partnering with research and data science teams
• Think in systems, considering how discovery, onboarding, and re-engagement work together
• Collaborate and communicate effectively, sharing work early and often
• Drive projects autonomously, managing time and deliverables

Requirements:

• 3+ years of product design experience designing consumer-facing digital products
• Strong visual design foundation with demonstrated aesthetic taste
• Solid interaction design skills, creating intuitive flows and understanding information architecture
• High proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools
• Experience shipping products collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Ownership mindset with a bias toward action

Nice to Have:

• Personal use of Discord and passion for gaming or community platforms
• Experience designing growth, onboarding, acquisition, or lifecycle products
• Understanding of how products reach and grow users across surfaces
• Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and data-driven iteration

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $148,000 to $166,500 + equity + benefits.
