Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a Network Security Engineer to join our team. You will implement IP-based network solutions, configure network security standards, and manage firewall systems.

Responsibilities:

• Implement IP-based network solutions
• Configure network security standards and best practices
• Configure and maintain network zones and access control policies
• Manage and configure firewall systems
• Implement and operate proxy solutions for secure web access
• Support secure connectivity for SAP systems using SAP Router
• Review, optimize, and maintain security rule sets and configurations
• Collaborate with IT/security teams and business units to align infrastructure with security and business requirements

Qualifications:

• Theoretical expertise in IP-based networks
• Knowledge of network (Cisco) or security (Checkpoint) equipment
• Familiarity with LAN, WAN, and Wireless technologies
• Curiosity and willingness to learn
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team

Nice-to-haves:

• Hands-on experience with Cisco LAN, WAN, and Wireless equipment
• Experience with Checkpoint Management Console

Requirements:

• Fluency in written and spoken German (B2-C1) and English (B2)
• Flexibility and willingness to travel
• Valid work permit
