Senior Software Engineer, Battlespace Awareness

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the direction of a small team with expertise and ideas.
• Prototype state-of-the-art software solutions in an agile development environment.
• Implement high-performance software spanning tactical systems to web applications.
• Use high-fidelity modeling and simulation environments, innovative analysis tools, and sound analysis techniques to quantify the benefit of technology.
• Engage with customers to ensure successful outcomes for their mission-critical needs.
• Work with all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
• Help colleagues and customers understand what's being done and why.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or another technical field (advanced degree strongly preferred).
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Matlab.
• Experience with big data/NoSQL/database technologies.
• Knowledge of software engineering, including software design, algorithm implementation, and software analysis, testing, and optimization.
• Familiarity with machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised learning, clustering, and classification.
• Understanding of applied mathematics, including differential equations, linear algebra, optimization, statistics, and random processes.
• Experience with engineering principles, including controls, estimation theory, and digital signal processing.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
