Description
At Leidos Australia, you'll contribute to nationally significant projects as a Software Test Engineer. You'll verify software and systems against defined requirements, develop test artefacts, execute structured testing, and collaborate with delivery teams to resolve defects.
Responsibilities:
- Review requirements and designs to define test conditions, test cases, expected results, and traceability
- Execute functional, system, integration, and regression testing across applications, interfaces, and environments
- Record, investigate, and retest defects, working with engineers to clarify behaviour and confirm resolution
- Maintain test evidence, quality records, and reporting while contributing to automation and process improvement
Requirements:
- Experience testing software, systems, integrations, or technical products
- Ability to derive test cases from requirements, designs, and acceptance criteria
- Experience executing tests, documenting results, and managing defects through resolution
- Knowledge of traceability, regression testing, and quality assurance processes
- Ability to investigate unexpected outcomes and communicate findings clearly
- Experience using test management, defect tracking, or requirements management tools
