Description
Mastercard Foundry R&D is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join our team in Dublin TechHub. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will work on developing high-performance AI solutions using machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing tools and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, and develop AI solutions using ML, DL, and NLP tools and techniques
- Research new AI frameworks and technologies and apply them to develop proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and products
- Use large language models to build AI-based solutions for relevant use cases
- Contribute to requirements for new applications and customizations
- Coach and develop junior employees
- Communicate domain-level directions through public speaking and other channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product innovation and R&D initiatives
- Publish research papers and file patents for solution concepts in AI
- Identify opportunities where AI can be leveraged as a key enabler
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience in Data Science
- Proficiency with Python and related Data Science tools and packages
- Advanced knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and NLP concepts and models
- Experience with cloud platforms, MLOps tools, and UI frameworks
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to lead projects and work independently
