Description
We are seeking an ASIC Chip Manager to help drive development of future SoC processors for client, workstation, embedded, and automotive markets.
Job Overview: In this role, you will drive the execution of SoCs from concept to production. You will define and track project achievements and dependencies across multi-functional teams, coordinate IP design, integration, DFT, physical design, VLSI, emulation, software, and operations teams to ensure successful productization with the first silicon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive SoC execution from concept to production
- Coordinate activities across multi-functional teams
- Identify and characterize key technical risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Provide technical leadership to the team
- Work in a highly matrixed and efficient global engineering team
Requirements:
- BSEE (MSEE / MSCE preferred) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in chip development, with at least 5 years managing an SoC or key sub-system
- Experience in graphics processing, memory, and I/O sub-systems in SoC chips
- Deep knowledge of chip life cycle phases from concept to production
- Ability to multi-task across simultaneous projects and drive complex technical issue resolution
- Excellent written, verbal, and technical communications skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong algorithm development and programming skills
- Understanding of client and automotive markets
- Experience with safety standards such as ISO26262
