The HR Business Partner & Organizational Development Director is an advisor to senior business leaders, directly partnering with the Technology & Operations and Risk Management divisions.
Job Responsibilities
- Organizational Design Effectiveness
- Design and drive Organizational Design Effectiveness across PVA, ensuring structures, roles, spans of control, governance, and ways of working are fit for business growth, transformation, and modernization.
- Partner with business and HR leaders to review organization effectiveness, identify capability gaps, and recommend sustainable and technology-enabled organization solutions.
- Lead strategic organization effectiveness initiatives linked to operating model modernization, productivity, agility, leadership accountability, and market leadership ambition.
- Strategic Business Partnering
- Act as a strategic HR advisor to the CHRO and senior leaders for Technology & Operations and Risk Management.
- Translate business priorities into people strategies, workforce priorities, leadership actions, and organization capability plans.
- Champion organization uplift and transformation by embedding digital, data-driven, and technology-enabled people solutions.
- Influence senior stakeholders to enable transformation, operating model modernization, and sustainable business performance.
- Strategic Workforce Planning
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement annual workforce plans.
- Monitor manpower planning and support buy-build-borrow strategies.
- Assist in executing people’s strategies at the divisional level.
- Remuneration & Rewards
- Work with the Rewards team to ensure total rewards mechanisms support business needs.
- Collaboration & Teamwork
- Foster strong collaboration between HRBP, Talent, Rewards, and other HR functions to avoid bottlenecks and improve operational efficiency.
- Other Duties
- Perform other strategic tasks as assigned by the CHRO.
Job Accountability
- Drive strategic HR partnership for Technology & Operations and Risk Management, aligned with CHRO priorities.
- Lead organization uplift and transformation through a more technology-driven, modernized, agile, and future-ready operating model.
- Drive organization design effectiveness across PVA to support transformation, productivity, scalability, and market leadership.
- Drive workforce planning, succession, talent development, engagement, and retention for assigned divisions.
- Enable leadership effectiveness and organizational capabilities required to position Prudential Vietnam as the number one leading player in the market.
Performance measures
- Quality and impact of strategic HR advisory to CHRO, Technology & Operations, and Risk Management leaders.
- Successful delivery of organization uplift and transformation initiatives, including technology-driven and modernized operating model outcomes.
- Measurable improvement in organization design effectiveness, productivity, agility, role clarity, and governance across PVA.
- Effectiveness of workforce planning, succession, talent development, engagement, and retention outcomes for assigned divisions.
- Contribution to strengthening Prudential Vietnam’s organizational capabilities and market leadership ambition.
Job Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Experience and Knowledge: At least 10 years of progressive experience in any of HR disciplines including Business Partnering, people development, or workforce planning.
- Skill: Strong business acumen and influencing skills, strong digital mindset with the ability to drive technology-enabled, data-driven, and modernized HR and organization solutions, stakeholder engagement and critical thinking, collaboration and teamwork.
