Job Summary

As a (Junior) Financial Business Partner Operations, you play a vital role within our Ops Controlling team, bridging the gap between supply chain activities and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Your core tasks will include:

  • Inventory Reporting & Analysis: Own the monthly inventory reporting and forecasting process. Analyze stock levels, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize working capital.
  • Sales & Demand Planning: Conduct monthly sales and demand planning checks, ensuring financial alignment and consistency between operational forecasts and commercial targets.
  • Purchase Order Management & Budget Control: Oversee the approval workflow for Purchase Orders (POs) and track PO budget consumption to ensure cost control and budget compliance.
  • Slow Mover Management: Take ownership of slow-moving inventory. This includes conducting long-tail analyses, calculating necessary write-offs/provisions, and coordinating scrapping requests.
  • COGS & Margin Analysis: Analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and its direct impact on the contribution margin, helping identify profitability drivers including tracking of special/one-off effects within COGS.
  • Backup & Process Resilience: Act as backup for closing-relevant Ops Controlling tasks, ensuring continuity of critical month-end and reporting processes.

Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Financial Reporting roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, PowerQuery, pivot tables, modeling).
  • Experience with ERP systems, ideally Business Central and/or SAP.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management.
  • Ability to manage large data sets with precision and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial concepts simply.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in a consumer products, retail, or subscription business.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or other analytics tools.
  • Exposure to multi-entity or multi-currency reporting.
  • Experience in a fast-growing, international environment.
