Athlete Media Channels Manager

We are seeking an Athlete Media Channels Manager to join our Global Athlete & Team Sports Media Network Team in Salzburg, Austria.

As an Athlete Media Channels Manager, you will lead the development and execution of fully integrated 360° programming and release plans across managed, owned, and earned channels for network projects.

Responsibilities:

• Shape Global Programming & Channel Strategy: Translate the overarching network strategy and objectives into content programming plans across managed, owned, earned, athlete, team, and league channels.
• Drive Audience-First Content Excellence: Define content requirements and ensure content development supports programming strategies, aligns with platform best practices, and reflects audience consumption habits.
• Turn Insights into Action: Translate channel and audience data into targeted programming strategies, channel optimizations, and content priorities.
• Partner with Markets to Scale Impact Globally: Collaborate with markets around the world to align local programming and activation plans, enabling the successful implementation of global projects.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Digital Strategy, Media Programming, or Social Media, ideally within the sports industry.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Proven ability to analyze content performance and audience data, derive actionable insights, and translate findings into effective channel, programming, and content strategies.
• Strong understanding of how to adapt content and digital strategies to engage diverse audiences and maximize impact across different platforms and consumer touchpoints.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
