Litigation Associate (Mid-Level) - Columbus, OH

Ice Miller LLP is seeking a mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate to join our Litigation Practice Group in Columbus, Ohio.

In this position, you will handle all aspects of complex litigation, including case assessment, pleadings, discovery strategy, motion practice, depositions, trial and/or oral advocacy.

Responsibilities:

• Manage business disputes in federal and state courts and before arbitration panels
• Draft and develop litigation strategies, pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Supervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients
• Collaborate with partners on business development and client relationship management

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• At least three (3) years of experience practicing law in a law firm
• Active law license in Ohio
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills and business judgement
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States
