Workers Comp Attorney

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an Attorney to join our Workers Compensation team in our growing Cincinnati or Columbus Ohio office. The Workers Compensation Attorney will handle and support a heavy and complex case-load of cases from pre-litigation through trial, and will benefit from working at the firm with the largest marketing budget in this space.

Responsibilities:

• Handle cases from pre-litigation to resolution
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions
• Guide clients through the case process
• Interact with expert witnesses, including conferences and drafting expert reports
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, court appearances, and trials

Qualifications:

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the OH State Bar Association
• Minimum 1+ years of workers compensation experience
• Experience with wage and hour claims is a plus
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases through full life cycle
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
