Sr. Staff Electrical Engineer - BlueSky (R5838)

Shield AI is seeking a Sr. Staff Electrical Engineer to join its V-BAT Division. As a Sr. Staff Electrical Engineer, you will help develop state-of-the-art blue sky products, specifically defining elegant, high-performance computing, sensing, communication, and power systems to support fixed-wing aircraft products.

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of industry experience as an Electrical Engineer
• Strong technical fundamentals
• Contributed to and led multiple product design cycles involving Logic, EE, ME, and SW engineering
• Demonstrated track record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others
• Demonstrated track record of extreme ownership and delivering outstanding outcomes
• Proven track record of successfully shipping products, showcasing the ability to navigate through development cycles, overcome obstacles, and deliver high-quality solutions to meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations in a fast-paced environment
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement within hardware development projects, demonstrating initiative to propose and implement innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and overall project success and aircraft reliability
