Description
WSP USA is offering a Full Time Civil-Roadway Engineering Intern position as part of their Summer Internship Program. The internship will last for 12 weeks, starting on May 17th, 2027, and will be based in Columbus, OH.
As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis
- Supporting preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates
- Collecting and maintaining project documentation
- Completing training on assigned tasks
- Exercising responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct
The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering or related Undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later. Required qualifications include:
- Being 18 or older
- Demonstrated interest in Transportation Design or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools
- Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred qualifications include experience using Microstation or OpenRoads Designer and prior internship or leadership involvement on campus.
