Description
We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our team in making it easier for customers to access medications. As a Pharmacist, you will be involved in the operation, handling tasks such as dispensing medications, managing prescription fulfillment, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Verify medication quality assurance for all packet and bulk dispenses
- Collaborate with other staff pharmacists to ensure thorough quality assurance checks
- Complete ancillary housekeeping pharmacy tasks, including checking returns and overseeing medication substitutions
- Answer clinical questions and provide clinical guidance
- Investigate errors and facilitate proper resolution and reporting
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, Federal/State laws, rules, and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or PharmD Degree
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in the state of employment
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations concerning patient care
- Exemplary interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to perform basic computer functions
- Ability to lift 20lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in LTC or Retail Setting
- Excellent Communication skills
