Description

Flock is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to join its small, high-impact product team. The engineer will work across the entire stack and customer journey – frontend, backend, data, infra, and AI.

Responsibilities:

  • Build across the stack: Design, ship, and iterate on the platforms and tools that power Flock's Exchange and Fund , from acquisition to fund operations to the investor experience.
  • Own features end-to-end: Take features from MVP to production, working directly with Design and Ops to iterate and move fast.
  • Shape the roadmap: Influence major product and engineering decisions.
  • Build for the whole company: Develop tools that make Acquisitions, Operations, and Asset Management faster and sharper, not just customer-facing features.
  • Set the engineering bar: Help establish the processes, code standards, and culture that let engineering scale as Flock grows.
  • Empower the team: Build the tooling that makes it possible for non-engineers to build through developing AI infrastructure that brings everyone's ideas to life.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years experience building and delivering production quality software systems.
  • Strong candidates are expected to operate independently.
  • Eager to Grow: Learns unfamiliar areas fast, and leans on AI to move into them quickly.
  • Full-Stack Fluency: Uses TypeScript, React, Node, GraphQL/Apollo, Go, Python, AWS (ECS/Beanstalk), and Salesforce.
  • AI-forward: Comfortable building with AI tools and agents.
  • Collaborative: Defaults to an iterative approach to problem solving and works well with Product, Design, and non-technical teams.
  • Bias to Action: Rather ships and iterates than waits for a perfect spec.
  • Metrics-driven: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proven track record of using data to measure success and inform decisions.
  • Organized: Able to balance multiple projects and prioritize competing tasks.
  • Ethical: Conducts business with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

Benefits:

  • Target annual salary: $130-170k
  • Equity
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401k
  • Unlimited PTO
