Description
We are seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer (Building Services) to join our team in Birmingham. As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering projects in line with client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for producing detailed and performance specifications for building services electrical engineering projects.
- Review design programmes and ensure sufficient resources are allocated to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Work independently with minimal supervision on technical aspects of building services electrical engineering projects.
- Supervise the completion of detailed designs and oversee the work of others.
- Consider project feasibility and lead feasibility studies.
- Provide training and mentoring to staff.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of delivering UK building services projects.
- Ability to engage with clients, contractors, and design team members in technical discussions.
- Strong communication and graphical skills to effectively convey technical details.
- Detailed understanding of relevant regulations and ability to demonstrate this through calculations.
- Experience with electrical design software packages such as AMTECH or Electrical OM.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP or other 3D design software.
- Ability to obtain UK Security Check (SC) vetting level.
