Description
Howden is seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join our Analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering actuarial and analytical solutions that provide outstanding value to our clients. You will work closely with brokers, carriers, and insureds to analyse, design, and price reinsurance structures for indemnity and parametric risks.
The ideal candidate will be an established practitioner in General Insurance with expertise in pricing, reserving, and/or capital modelling. You will have good interpersonal skills, a passion for problem-solving, and a delivery-oriented mindset.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with colleagues across Howden on projects related to (re)insurance placements or tender opportunities
- Applying and refining actuarial and analytical techniques to deliver advisory and placement projects
- Leading client and research projects commensurate with your experience and skills
