IT Application Expert

We are looking for an IT Application Expert to manage and evolve our critical software infrastructure, ensuring seamless collaboration across international borders.

Scope of responsibilities

• System Administration: Operation and comprehensive support of CAx, PDM, and PLM software environments.
• Development: Design, development, and continuous enhancement of interfaces for integrated software systems.
• Collaboration: Facilitating effective communication between end users, project teams, 2nd-level support (key users), and internal IT organizations.
• Requirements Engineering: Defining functional and technical requirements for existing and new CAx/PDM/PLM solutions, including implementation, validation, and documentation.
• Global Support: Providing global support for AVL and coordinating assistance for international subsidiaries worldwide.
• Innovation: Actively contributing to a dedicated team, driving proactive improvements, and thinking beyond conventional boundaries.

Your profile

• Education: Completed degree in IT, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience: At least three years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid background in PDM/PLM systems; experience with Dassault Systèmes solutions (PDM Professional or 3DEXPERIENCE) is highly preferred.
• Software Skills: Proficiency with CAD applications, specifically SolidWorks.
• Infrastructure: Solid understanding of database systems (MS SQL Server is a plus) and proficiency in Microsoft server/client environments (SCCM knowledge is an asset).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and advanced technical problem-solving capabilities.
• Languages: Fluency in English; German language skills are considered a significant advantage.
• Mobility: Readiness to travel as required for international project coordination.
