As a Flight Test Engineer - Imaging, you will contribute to the developmental testing of tactical imaging systems, both ground testing and integration into airborne based systems in a fast-paced test environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to developmental testing of tactical imaging systems
  • Integrate Anduril's Test and Evaluation process into the program and ensure adherence throughout the life of the program
  • Ensure safe operations of all testing efforts in accordance with established operating procedures and practices
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and ensure alignment with system capabilities and mission objectives
  • Support the continuous improvement of test procedures, safety protocols, and documentation standards
  • Coordinate with private/government test sites to test and evaluate systems and software
  • Analyze data from tests to validate system performance and identify areas for improvement

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
  • 0-2 years of test engineering experience
  • Hands-on project experience demonstrating practical problem-solving ability
  • Ability to interpret and analyze test data using tools such as MATLAB, Python, or similar
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and on test ranges in field conditions
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current Secret or Top Secret security clearance
  • Demonstrated interest in engineering beyond the classroom
  • Direct experience in the development, testing, and deployment of autonomy or imaging systems
  • Familiarity with FAA, FCC, and other relevant regulations
  • RC pilot experience in Groups 1 - 3 rotary and fixed wing UAVs
  • Familiarity with software development practices and experience with programming languages used in autonomy and robotics
