Front of House Assistant - The Kennels Restaurant

The Kennels is the exclusive clubhouse for Members of the Goodwood Estate, offering outstanding food, drink and hospitality in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

We're looking for friendly and enthusiastic Front of House Assistants to join our team. If you enjoy meeting new people, delivering excellent service and being part of a supportive team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

• Providing a warm and professional welcome to Members and guests.
• Taking food and drink orders and delivering attentive service throughout the guest experience.
• Preparing and maintaining restaurant and bar areas to the highest standards.
• Monitoring your section and anticipating guest needs wherever possible.
• Building a strong knowledge of menus, daily specials and events taking place across The Kennels.
• Maximising opportunities to recommend and upsell products and services.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Requirements

• A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within hospitality.
• Strong communication skills and a good standard of spoken and written English.
• A positive, friendly and professional approach.
• The ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Great attention to detail and a willingness to go the extra mile.
